FOR INDEPENDENT MEDICAL PRACTICES

Medical website design for Connecticut practices.

People visiting a practice website often need a few practical answers before they contact the office: who provides care, what services are offered, and how to take the next step. Practice Relay plans websites around those questions, with considered design and information your team reviews and approves.

Start with the questions your office hears every day.

Your website should make the basics easy to find on a phone as well as a larger screen. We begin by reviewing the information visitors need and the questions that currently reach your front desk. That conversation helps shape the navigation, page structure, and contact choices.

A project can include a new-patient overview, provider introductions, service pages, practical location information, and links to the systems your practice already uses. The right starting point depends on your practice, rather than a fixed list of pages.

  • Provider biographies and credentials supplied by your team
  • Service descriptions reviewed by the practice
  • Approved insurance, payment, and new-patient information
  • Prominent phone, appointment, and portal links

Give your team a clear content-review role.

We can help organize existing material, identify missing information, and draft website wording for review. Your practice remains responsible for approving clinical language, credentials, service availability, and any treatment-related statements before publication.

Insurance participation and office policies can change. We agree which information belongs on the website, who verifies it, and how later corrections should be requested. A readable explanation is useful only when it reflects what your practice actually offers.

Connect the public website to the appropriate next step.

Your existing scheduling tool or patient portal may already provide the destination people need. We review the available links and connection options, then scope the website handoff around what those tools support.

A request for an appointment should be described as a request. A portal link should take visitors to the intended portal. Clinical questions and sensitive patient details should be directed into the intake or communication tools selected by your practice, with the public website explaining that route.

Choose a useful first scope.

A solo clinician may need a compact introduction and a straightforward new-patient path. A group practice may need several provider profiles, separate services, and more decisions about maintaining information. We discuss those differences before agreeing on the build.

Your written scope can identify pages, content responsibilities, design reviews, booking handoffs, and launch checks. We also discuss what happens after launch, including who supplies updated biographies, service changes, and revised office information.

Work directly with the person building the site.

Practice Relay is an online studio based in Waterford, Connecticut. You work directly with Jason Blain through remote conversations, shared materials, and review rounds. His background includes patient-facing CNA work and building the website and business workflows for his own service business.

That perspective informs the questions we ask about understandable information and practical follow-through. Any healthcare design studies shown during planning are identified as demonstrations, with the proposed website developed around your own approved content.

Questions before we begin.

Can we keep our current patient portal?

Often, the website can link to the portal you already use. We review the destination and available connection options before including the handoff in your scope. Any deeper connection needs its own assessment.

Do you write our medical content?

We can help structure information and prepare wording for your review. Your practice supplies and approves clinical details, provider credentials, insurance information, and treatment-related statements. That approval is part of the content process.

Can we start with a smaller website?

Yes. We can discuss a focused first phase built around the information your visitors need most. Additional provider or service pages can be considered separately, with their content and maintenance responsibilities agreed in advance.
