THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK

A Connecticut studio led by Jason Blain.

I’m Jason, the founder of Practice Relay. Based in Waterford, Connecticut, I build websites and connected inquiry workflows for healthcare and wellness businesses. We work together online, with attention to the information people need and the next step they’re trying to take.

Experience that shapes the questions I ask

My background includes more than four years of patient-facing work as a certified nursing assistant, alongside running my own service business. That experience has made me attentive to clear information, understandable next steps, and the people handling requests behind the scenes.

For a website project, those priorities become practical questions. Can someone understand the services? Is it clear how to get in touch? What information does the business need to respond? Who receives the request, and what happens afterward?

Built and used in my own business

I own Blain Co., a Connecticut auto detailing business. I built its public website and the workflows it uses for service inquiries, request-based scheduling, customer records, quotes, invoices, and receipts.

It gives you a real project to assess and gives me direct experience with the daily work that follows a customer inquiry. The Blain Co. case study explains my role and the functions involved.

Working together online

Practice Relay serves Connecticut healthcare and wellness businesses through online collaboration. Waterford is where I’m based; project discussions, content review, and website feedback happen remotely.

You can start with a new website, an existing site that needs a clearer direction, or an inquiry process that creates extra work. A useful first conversation covers your goals, current setup, and the parts you want to improve.

Work you can assess

Alongside the real Blain Co. project, this site includes original design studies using fictional practice names. They show different approaches to layout, service information, and visual style. Their labels make their demonstration status clear.

When you get in touch, a few details about your business and your website are enough to begin. The planning guide can help you gather questions before deciding what a project should include.

Questions before we begin.

Do we need to meet in person?

Practice Relay works entirely online. You can discuss a project, share content, and review the work remotely.

Are the practice design studies client projects?

They are fictional demonstrations. Blain Co. is a separate, real owner-operated project and is identified that way.
